Amazon Ecopark Jungle Lodge

This is the place to stay if you want to be surrounded by the Amazon Jungle while experiencing absolute comfort and delicious food! The heat and humidity of the jungle is offset by staying in your own small bungalow that has excellent air conditioning, a comfortable bed and even an outdoor porch where you can sit and read while enjoying the natural jungle sounds. There is a natural pool with seating and cabanas to enjoy a cooling swim. The guides have incredible knowledge about the history, culture, flora and fauna of the jungle that embraces this lodge resort. Delicious meals are prepared and served by skilled staff. The lodge also provides canoe outings to search for caimans lounging along the Rio Negro, a tributary of the Amazon River. You can choose to visit a monkey refuge for animals rescued from the illegal pet trade. Go piranha fishing, take hikes through the jungle or take a nap in the hammocks under the palm trees. Staying at this ecolodge was the highlight of my South America tour!

The guides are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The experiences are interesting and fun. The location and beach are wonderful. Definitely a place to make memories.

For the price - the rooms are pretty spartan (even considering you’re in the middle of the Amazon). We also signed up for the extra ($) dolphin swimming and indigenous experience - which were definitely not worth it (tourist traps).

AMAZING. We went here for our honeymoon and every single moment was breathtaking. The experiences you have and the staff are out of this world and a once in a lifetime experience. I could not recommend it enough. If you want an Amazon adventure, knowledgeable and kind staff and great accomodations and food then this is the place for you!

Lovely property.

There was garbage in the river. The Eco Lodge must do more every day to clean this garbage up from the river. They do have recycling bins at the lodge, which is great, but the canoes just sail past the garbage in the river.

The staff, the experiences, the location, the food, the grounds ... all were great and met our expectations.

Since we were there for three nights, we would have liked a little more variety with the meals.

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. The air conditioning is good. The room is clean. The property is really unique to separate you from the busy city life. The restaurant foods are wonderful with different menu and really enjoyed our 3 nights stay. The only complain I have is the shower water is not strong, and we just take longer shower time.

Adoramos a estadia, o hotel é incrível. Só 2 pontos que poderiam melhorar quanto a crianças, o bar poderia oferecer frutas e o horário da janta é um pouco tarde pra crianças pequenas. Mas nada que não desse pra resolver! O hotel e passeios foram maravilhosos!

For a family like ours with boys under 10, staying at this hotel was the perfect choice for our Amazon trip. The staff were exceptionally kind, the facilities were clean, and the meals were delicious with authentic Brazilian flavors—especially the fish, which we loved. Despite not catching any piranhas and my boys feeling a bit disappointed, our guide kindly arranged another fishing opportunity during the next tour. Additionally, a great advantage was the scarcity of mosquitoes, attributed to the acidity of the river.
