Very welcoming, staff very helpful and friendly, good sized, well planned room and bathroom. Nespresso coffee machine welcome. Our dog enjoyed her welcome package! Quiet and parking good. Very good food both for evening meal and breakfast.

Very dog friendly. Nothing too much trouble the staff were very welcoming and attentive. The bedroom was lovely with excellent lighting which is rare in my experience. Beautifully decorated and far beyond our expectations for a dog friendly room. We also had some delicious mince pies left for us in the room.

For the price we paid which was nearly £300 for 1 night I think the facilities were not that great. The back door/window of our room on the ground floor did not lock so the room was not secure. The lights around the mirror in the bathroom were not working, which made getting ready quite tricky. And finally, and this might be trivial but the sausage at breakfast was tasteless which is hard to do in the UK!

The room was very spacious & comfortable with 2 armchairs. The breakfasts were good and substantial as we're the evening meals. One thing which was a big plus was the fresh milk in the fridge for morning tea or coffee.

The only thing if I was being picky was the pillows weren't very comfortable!

Beautiful country pub with well appointed rooms to the rear. Quality level of fittings that make a stay .

Rooms could be more insulated from noise for other rooms
