We believe that dogs are part of the family and there is no need to leave any four-legged guests behind for your staycation. We have created special packages for overnight stays in our bedrooms that we have designated as dog friendly. Complete with their own doggy bed, blanket, bowl, and welcome box of tasty treats, up to a maximum of two dogs per room can stay with you, where available, for £20 per pet, per night.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. The room was beautiful and the staff were helpful, friendly and happy.

When we arrived the pub was very busy and we struggled to park, the car park was full and even the narrow roads outside were lined. There is no dedicated parking for overnight guests. The rooms are situated in a building at the end of the car park. The winning post is a very busy pub/ restaurant so there is lots of noise when people leave. The door into the downstairs floor of the building doesn't have a soft close so as each person returns to their room it bangs. The walls are not sound proof, we could hear a dog barking in one room and someone coughing all night in another. Breakfast was ok. A small selection of pastries, yogurt and fruit and a choice from a selection of hot food made to order. The vegetarian breakfast was good, the full English less so. Two fatty slices of streaky bacon, undercooked black pudding and toast only cooked on one side.
