Golden View Beach Hotel

This hotel has a great location. My family enjoyed having access to both the pool and the private beach which is mostly sandy. You can easily walk to restaurants and water sports. Having the private beach was really nice because the organized beach was crowded. The views are very nice from the hotel rooms which were decent. The breakfast buffet was good but lunch at the hotel was not that great. We ate off site for all meals other than breakfast. It is a short (5 min/5 euro) taxi to the port which has lots of dinner choices. We really enjoyed our stay

Das erste Zimmer war unakzeptabel! Das Badezimmer war voll Schimmel und ohne Belüftung. Der Brauseschlauch war gebrochen. Die Toilettenbürste verrostet und sehr schmutzig. Als wir uns beschwert hatten, wurde das Zimmer am nächsten Tag ausgetauscht und war viel besser als das erste. Der Rest des Aufenthalts war sehr gut gelaufen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, Bedwäsche und Tücher sehr oft ausgetauscht und sauber. Der private Strand sehr ruhig und angenehm.

Been to hotel before but opinion not changed. Good room with a balcony overlooking Askeli Bay.. Easy access for a swim at private beach and easy walking distance into Poros Town and other nearby bars and restaurants. Staff very helpful and courteous. Only small issue was the third single bed in our room which could have been more comfortable.

The location of the hotel is great. It is in a small village Askeli, near the main port and city of Poros. The walk to (city) Poros takes maybe 10-15 minutes. I stayed in a sea view double room, and I have to say that the view is really golden. Moreover, you can hear the waves of the sea and crickets all the time. Room was spacious and clean. Although the offer for breakfast is the same, it is fresh, delicious, and diverse, and you can combine it as you like. A part of the beach in front of the hotel is with sunbeds and umbrellas just for hotel guests, so you can always find a place for you. Wi-fi had a good signal everywhere, but I experienced slow internet. The hotel stuff is really great. They were so professional, helpful and at the same time unobtrusive. I will certainly consider it for future vacations.

For a good price, this 2 stars hotel is very good : wonderful view on the sea, nice private beach with sunbeds always available (despite the fact that some people book their sunbed at breakfast, what I can't understand...) Only lift is missing to get 3 stars I do recommand salads at the restaurant : they are very big and good.

Hôtel familial avec une majorité de clientèle grecque. Le personnel parle anglais. Le petit-déjeuner est essentiellement composé de produits industriels de qualité très médiocre. Petite plage privée avec chaises longues gratuites. Chaussures de bains conseillées.
