We got room no 3 and stayed for 2 nights. The apartment and property in general got a old and simple standard. Sinks not working properly, doors about to fall off etc. It is a 5 min drive for beach and 10 min to "downtown". No sunbeds for rental. I will not recommend this place to others.
USNIce, quaint, small complex with almost everything you could ask for from kayaks, to fishing docks to grills to free taxi service to the downtown district. Not a large resort and the amenities match the smaller complex. Almost totally recently remodeled, including the pool. They accept dogs in most of the units. Siesta Key's dog policies are turning around as we found now that most of the restaurants with outside dining welcome the little pooches. Rooms are freshly painted and well furnished. If I had one thing I was missing it would be a TV in the bedroom as we like to watch TV as we go to sleep. But sleep won't be a problem as the mattresses are wonderful. Tim and Yvonne were great and very accommodating and we got the opportunity to speak to the owner for a short time as he was replacing the grill with two brand new ones. They are working hard to repair issues before they arise. Most people wait for them to happen. Well priced and nicely located and landscaped. You shouldn't be disappointed. For the price, I think you definitely get what you pay for plus some.
USThe place is not fancy but the beds are comfortable and it is clean. I was just there to sleep and get dressed to out. My daughter room needed a bit of an update. But it served the purpose for a good price in the area. The manager was very thoughtful. We were visiting for my daughters wedding planning trip.
We had an amazing time staying at the Flip Flop cottages, and can not wait to come back next year. Tim and Yvonne are absolutely wonderful and welcoming, they made us feel like family. There was so much to do, from going to the beach, paddling down the lagoon, or just relaxing by the pool this place had everything we wanted.
