Grotthuss Boutique Hotel

The hotel is okay, maybe even great if you’re into “old charm”. What I can say objectively is that the breakfast (which is an add-on feature, the rating would be different if it was free) had very limited options and can’t stand close to the other better hotels in town.

I was charged for parking and local tax , which was not advertised .

We have stayed here many times and appreciate the staff and size of the hotel. We are always treated well, have an excellent breakfast buffet, and its close to the old part of of the city.

Great location, lovely rooms and inner courtyard. Our room was above the bar which was noisy at night.

Beautiful, charming, historic, comfy, great service and good location. The breakfast buffet was the best - very refined and generous. The decor is elegant, comfortable rooms with all modcons. The only criticism is that the inner courtyard rooms get the restaurant noise until 11pm.

It is a great location for visiting.

Saggy beds, slow wifi, super noisy courtyard until almost midnight and against first thing for breakfast - rooms face restaurant and car park. Noise unavailable. When I complained via email I was outright ignored. Recommend you stay elsewhere.

I really enjoyed my stay there. Hotel has a great location and everything you would need is very close. Room itself was very comfortable and spacious, breakfast was also very tasty and the staff was very helpful and pleasant. I would consider staying at this hotel once again.
