Grotthuss Boutique Hotel

The walk from the train station led us to think the area was a little sketchy but it was a safe and quiet location not far from bars, restaurants and the old town. The reception was unstaffed when we arrived and couldn't connect any calls but after a few minutes someone arrived to let us in. We had a lovely room at the front of the hotel with a little balcony. The room was comfortable but hot. The pillow could have done with replacing and there were no additional pillows. Breakfast was good enough to set us up for a day of sightseeing. On our last night we had drinks and then dinner on the terrace. There wasn't a menu and only one option so maybe check in advance it's something you can eat.

There is a lot to like about this hotel, on the edge of the old town of Vilnius and close to the station, with a lovely peaceful enclosed garden and terrace, and an excellent wine bar attached. Well maintained and modern rooms in a characterful old building.

Very centrally located; hotel has beautiful yard and serves absolutely fantastic breakfast!

5 We were welcomed by the service manager, kasparas, whose attentiveness and helpfulness throughout our stay was exceptional. Our room was clean and spacious; the staff were friendly and went out of their to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious with wonderful local crepes on offer and a wide selection of fruit, pastries and other delicacies. There is a spa attached to the hotel with excellent masseurs and a wine bar with a wide selection of French wines ….. this hotel was a real find.

Lovely clean Hotel. Beautiful room, on cobbled street in the Jewish Quarter. Very friendly helpful young man onreception. Very reasonable price. However I don’t agree with paying 2 Euros for a coffee in the room. It is a boutique hotel after all. Other than that , great stay

On our second visit to Vilnius we chose to stay here again as we had been very happy earlier in the year.. We were glad that we did as we could find no fault with this stylish hotel which is very centrally located in the old part of Vilnius. The included breakfast was particularly good with plenty of variety to satisfy all tastes. We can thoroughly recommend the Grotthuss Boutique Hotel.

A great location in the old part of the city.Lovely spacious rooms with high ceilings. Very helpful staff. Unfortunately there was no lift but that wasn't a big Issue even though both my partner and I have mobility problems. I would definitely recommend this hotel and it would be my first choice if I return to Vilnius...

Due to a death in one of our parties families, the reservation was cancelled after the cancellation cut-off date. The staff was very considerate of this situation and waived it's policy of charging for the room because the cancellation time had expired. We appreciated their thoughtful consideration and recommend the staff at the Grotthuss highly.

Great location , nice staff . Definitely pay little extra for breakfast!!!
