IFE B&B – Inka Frog Exclusive

We only stayed here for 2 nights on our way back to London. We found the rooms pleasant/comfortable and clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions for places to eat. etc. The beach front was walk-able in about 20 minutes and there were plenty of good resturants that were within 15 minutes walking distance of this place. Taxi to the centre/down-town of Lima cost about 15-20 Soles (30 minute journey time). We had the hotel arrange our transfers to and from the hotel as it was convenient (prices each way were $20 for 2 persons or $40 for 3-5 persons - other options were available for larger groups too). Everything was perfect - only the breakfast was a little on the light side (we were hungry again within 2 hours) otherwise it would have been a 5 star review all the way :)

Definitely recommend this hotel starting with the helpful English speaking lobby receptionist. The hotel is located in a safe upper middle class area of Lima with bars and restaurants within walking distance. Also quiet unlike a lot of hostels or hotels you will find around Peru. My fiancé and I booked a private room with queen sized bed and twin in room. Very spacious, sufficiently clean and up to date. The hotel also has a very nice breakfast included- eggs, fruit salad, bread, tea. Make sure not to miss it. Upper floor patio was also a nice chill area to bring a couple beers back to and plan out the rest of your trip or chat with new friends.

This well-designed hotel is a great place to stay in Cusco for the price. I saw that other reviewers complained about the neighborhood, but really it's a short stroll away from the center of Lima (Plaza de Armas). The staff were quite helpful and got us the best rates for taxis to the airport (15 soles, not 35 as the taxi drivers at the airport suggest!). We also left for one night to travel to Machu Picchu. The hotel had no problem keeping our suitcases at the hotel. When we arrived back, they placed hot water bottles in our beds to keep them warm. Definitely recommend!

We arrived at Inka Frog not knowing much about Lima and Peru. The hotel staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. They suggested places to eat and where to visit. The bathrooms are external to the room, but they are private. The wifi was ok. The breakfast was simple but they made it fresh for you when you sat down. Overall a good experience.

Walking distance to many restaurants and activities in Mira Flores. While there is no signage on the outside (just international flags over the door), once inside you will find a quaint hotel with English-speaking staff willing to help you. The rooftop terrace offers a great place to relax, but the high walls prevent any view. Only a handful of rooms means you will get to know the other guests as well. Excellent breakfast to start the morning.

The wifi was wonderful, the breakfast was decent, service was fantastic, and location was great--far enough into Miraflores that it felt safe and nice, but close enough to the Central Lima that we could see the sites. The only thing that wasn't great was that the bathroom never stopped smelling bad the entire time we stayed.

We stayed at Inka Frog after arriving in Lima late one evening. The driver from Inka Frog to pick us up was prompt, the rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast the following morning of bread, fruit, and eggs, was excellent. This is a hostel - our room had it's own bathroom however, not connected to our room, but our own bathroom nonetheless. The only reason we didn't give a four star review is because we'd save that for a WOW reaction. This is also four stars with a hostel in mind. You get a whole lot for what you pay for - the cheaper room we stayed is was ~$35 US at a promotional rate.

We had a great stay. They had someone at the desk 24hours always willing to help. This was a great place at a steal. Breakfast was a great start to our daily adventures. It was far enough away from the tourist scene that we were trying to avoid, but close enough to walk there, or take a super cheap taxi. Would definitely stay again :)

Great people working, small hotel. But was good for what I needed for the price.
