Great value and not too far from Vegas airport. Staff / Management very kind and welcoming.

Had to drive 10 minutes to nearest restaurant. Woke up to find gnats / small insect on the blanket and cockroach like bugs on the floor.

ME & HUBBY STAYED FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY AND WE LOVE IT SMELT LIKE PINE-SOL MORNING NOON AND NIGHT. I LOVED IT, ROOMS ARE VERY ROOMY WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK SOON WE FELT LIKE WE WAS HOME!! MRS. SUSAN MADE US FEEL VERY WELCOMED WITH HER HOSPITALITY 😉

Lots of space in our room. Firm, comfortable beds.

Some noise from families in other rooms. Slightly dated feel to furnishings — maybe this is the “historic” part of the property’s name.

Place had a 9pm check-in deadline. I spoke to a staff member and they told me there were no check-in issues. Then they called me from an unknown number which went to voicemail so I never spoke to them, and they emailed me AT 8:22 PM -- 40 MINUTES BEFORE THE CHECK-IN DEADLINE. I got there and the place was locked so I had to sleep in my car. The next morning, they literally told me "tough luck." The place is also a total dump. "Historic" is a euphemism for old, dirty, and in need of upgrades.

This is a hidden gem. Small hotel with a 9 hole golf course set in a secluded area. Super quiet and the lobby staff treats you like family. The rooms were very clean. Better than staying at the hotels in mesquite. Definitely we’ll be back!

Several things went wrong buy they were more than happy to fix them. Golf Course was in great shape and they comped my round for all the inconveniences I had experienced.

The first room I was assigned, the TV didn't work ( all channels were snowy and there was no volume ) After several minutes of them trying to fix the problem, they moved me to another room. The next morning, after returning from coffee, my key wouldn't open the door. After waiting for 15 minutes, someone from maintenance showed up and couldn't get my key or his master key to open the door. After another 5 minutes, he was finally able to open the door. I left my door unlocked for the next 2 days just to be sure it didn't happen again.

Only stayed here because mesquite was all booked up (according to online listings). Way overpriced rooms. It looks like it hasn't been updated since the 80s. Only 1 coffee, 1 fruit snack, 1 granola bar. Toiletries were smaller than ketchup packets so we had to buy more in town. We got a different room than we'd booked, but there were hardly any guests. No ice maker, had to get it from the bar when you can find someone. Tiny tv placed so that you can't see well from the bed. No deadbolts on the doors.
