Ramada by Wyndham South Waco

The check-in process and lady was great. The room, initially, seemed great, was cool when we entered and smelled fresh. The first thing that was odd was tissue that was inserted in the peep hole of the door. Then, we found milk and sprite left in the fridge. After that, when my husband went to take a shower, he found a dirty washcloth hanging on the shower curtain rod, gross. Then, we found dust/grime all around the rim of the tub and long, dark hairs everywhere. It just seemed like the tub hadn’t even been cleaned. So, it put a damper on the rest of the evening. It just felt dirty everywhere, unfortunately. It just seemed like there wasn’t attention to detail and cleaned thoroughly.

The check in clerk assisted greatly with card reader issues. She also got a ladder removed a blockage from a smoke detector. Comfortable beds.

Issues with card reader for room access. Toilet paper had to be refilled in room and lobby. Check out receptionist was more worried about her phone. Breakfast set-up was incomplete was told that's all they had today.

People hanging in front smoking and hanging out , including the staff. Makes the place look low quality . And trashy

Place was nice staff was friendly room was great untill smoke alarm started going off at 4am. Front desk kid was nice and advised that there was nothing he could do ahout it. After an hour had enough had them get me another room. Breakfast was ok.

Great rooms. Comfortable bed. Huge shower. Everything worked great.

Only one ice machine for the whole motel and it was broken. WiFi was basically nonexistent, Don’t try to work from this motel. Floors in room were filthy, made my feet dirty walking on them. 3-4 people (same group) always smoking right by the entry door every time I went in/out. May have been employees. Vagrants wandering around parking lot at any given time. 8-10 cops in parking lot arresting people and blocking traffic in/out of the parking lot one morning

The property was located with 10 minutes of everywhere we want to go. Very easy to get in and out of. Everyone was very pleasurable and helpful. I was locked out our room last and the lady who was managing the front desk noticed on the cameras that we we’re having an issue, so I took the elevator door stairs and she met me at the elevator with a new key. I was very impressed at her attention to detail. We loved visiting Waco. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
