Hotel Brosundet

If you are looking for a 5+ * Hotel, look no further then Hotel Brosundet. From the time my wife and I arrived and until we had departed, the staff members treated us as if we were the only value customers. The quality of food is second to none and we look forward to or next stay in your establishment.

Just perfect. Would definitely stay here again fabulous friendly service, cozy welcoming atmosphere and superb food and great location.

We had a great two nights here in June! It's a lovely hotel that is walkable to everything you want to do in Alesund. The rooms, service, and meals are exceptional. Loved how easy it was to book a taxi to the airport too. Fabulous hotel! Thank you for having us.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, we had a 3 night stay. The fireplace is gorgeous and was always lit , it was so relaxing to sit by. Our room had a view of the harbor that was breathtaking. Room was very clean and large, bathroom was a bit dated and did not have enough counter space for how big it was. Kettle and coffeepot were nice touches. The downside was the bed was horrible and felt like a cheap mattress on a sofa bed. I grew up in a furniture store so I know a good bed. Also the gym and spa were very small and uncomfortable. The gym equipment stuck out so much in the circular room it was hard to get past someone if they were working out. You can rent the two tubs they show online but I would never do it since there is absolute no privacy. You are on a patio that the weight room looks out to and hotel guests can access since that is how you get to the sauna which faces directly to the tubs as does one restaurant window. Dinner was ok a bit overpriced for what we got so we only ate there one night. Breakfast had a good variety of food and was more than enough. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Very pleasant hotel in the center of Alesund. Close to everything, convenient parking (although a bit tight), VERY good breakfast. Rooms are small but very nice. Could use some minor refurbishment. Removing one star for a noise from the lobby in the very late evening (up to/past midnight). Doors are not noise insulated, noises are carried up the lobby to the rooms and staff didn't bother to ask guest to be mindful of the late hour.

Great location in the middle of everything. Loved the sauna and adjacent quick jump into the North Sea.

Parking was a bit of a hassle
