Budget Inn

The place was ok for me as I was gone all day for work, but I would recommend spending a few more bucks and stay somewhere else.

Excessive scent, and as it faded smelled of dead mouse and windows cant be opened . Scary neighbors lolligagging right outside my door. Air conditioner needed cleaning. No 2nd lock at top.

Although this is a older establishment, it has been lovingly remodeled and decorated. It is similar to what was once called a 'tourist court' back in the 40s & 50s. But that suits me just fine. It fills the bill for an overnight stay, as long as a person isn't overly picky. I've stayed in fancy places from LA to NYC and metro areas in between, but a little place like this has a nostalgic appeal that hard to beat.

Would only stay here if you're looking to save a buck. The first room key didn't work so they moved us to another room. The room was adequate but it was musty.

Very nice economical motel with a friendly staff and good location close to Tarleton University. Quick check in to a modest non-smoking room that was clean and comfortable with no smell of smoke. Our stay was peacefully quiet as we didn’t hear any noise from adjacent rooms and only an occasional murmur of noise from the highway. The bed and pillows in room 105 were wonderfully comfortable so we slept great! We will definitely stay at the budget inn on our next trip to stephenville.

There was no one to clean the room or bring new towels. Only one person spoke English, everyone else just said OK, and walked away. For $20 more a night, I should have stayed at any of the other chains. Not worth the money.

The people were so very nice but the hotel is old, desk chair torn with foam hanging out, wall lamp falling down unable to stand up. Shower curtain needed replacing

Staff was friendly and room was clean. Served it's purpose very well.
