"A very interesting and friendly place to stop over for a night or two. The Hotel is a gem."

Very tranquil boutique hotel. Some lovely touches to make it authentic with the area. Loved the spa room to ourselves. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast options were very good. The multitude of restuarants in the town.

Noisey aicon unit. Noise from the Spa during the day. Availability and pricing of the spa. 18euro each, is worth it for a couple but, if you are a family you may have to negotiate a rate. Also you should book in advance. TV was very small. All the forementioned did not affect our enjoyment of our stay. Limited access for parking nearby, not for the infirm as its a steep walk into town. Wednesday evenings most restaurants are closed or have limited menus.

"An absolute gem. Lively property, beautifully decorated in a rural style and very sympathetic to the original features."

Excellent room, lots of space, huge bed and lovely bathroom with great shower. Lots of lovely original features. Some superb communal areas. The Spa facilities were exceptional. Exclusive use for the hour - very good value for money.
