Century Royal Hotel

The underpass is linked from Sapporo station to the hotel, making it easy to access especially during winter when is cold and slippery outside.

Like this hotel so much as it located very near Sapporo station by short walking distance and going thru the underground pathway with many shops, cafe, restaurants etc. Friendly staff can communicate in english, fast check in & out. Spacious room size & great room amenities too! Will definitely stay here again in future!

Good location and room size considered big for Japan's standard. Very good breakfast selection as well. But room is pretty old already.

It was awesome and the staff was super attentive. Location was great connected to station which was convenient when raining/snowing

Fabulous complimentary set Japanese breakfast

Hotel was in good position almost next to Sapporo station. The reception was lovely but the corridors to the rooms could do with a coat of paint. The room however was too hot and it was impossible to turn the heating off / get the air con to work so room temperature was always 22 degrees. It was not possible to open a window.

We stayed a week in Sapporo and this hotel is close to the Sapporo station that you can walk to the station and take any other bus, taxi or subway to other destinations. even if you want to find your way back just ask for the Sapporo Station and that's it. the hotel has great breakfast either westernise or Japanese try both. and if you are tired and don't want to go outside for dinner the hotel have many options for dinner or lunch. if you feel like walking the Hokkaido University, Sapporo Clock tower, Sapporo Factory, Odori Park and the Gov building are close. definitely worth what are you paying

Located across the street from the JR station makes this a convenient hotel from which to access other parts of Hokkaido by train. The bus terminal is a block away. The underground passage can be accessed from the hotel elevators, making it easy to get around in inclement weather. Family Mart is on the ground floor and can be accessed from the hotel elevator. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little dated and small, but very clean and comfortable. Great bath amenities. Delicious restaurant options within the hotel. The Yuuyoo Terrace for a wonderful breakfast buffet. The Kitanoji Japanese restaurant for breakfast or dinner. Have stay here three times and not been disappointed. Highly recommended.

Room is very small, like living on a ship.

Fantastic stay. Everything is good especially the buffet breakfast -- by far the most sumptuous I have in Japan.
