Bamboo House Resort

The staff was very helpful and friendly and spoke some English. I think this is one of the better hotels in this wonderful small town. The only caveat is that the shower and toilet both have clear glass walls (which seems to be 'the style' for hotels catering to Chinese these days, but it is not so great if you are traveling with your son, as I was.

Dette hotellet overasket oss veldig positivt. Byen er en enkel, men veldig hyggelig by. Bamboo hadde fantastiske rom på linje med topp hoteller i storbyer. Betjeningen kunne perfekt engelsk og veldig hjelpsomme. Maten på hotellet var ikke ikke så bra, men frokosten var veldig bra

Thanks to Annie at the Bamboo House Resort we had the best time in Yangshuo! The hotel was in a great location right at the end of West End Street, so we could walk the shopping streets at any time and soak in the local culture. Annie took care of every detail for our side adventures too (boat trip on the Le River, tickets to the Water Show, bikes to ride into the countryside).

For 50$ per night, we had a great experience at this hotel. It's a family-runned small hotel, very central but quiet enough with nice and quite diverse rooms. Many of them have really nice spas. Our friends had a spa for 4-5 people!! There is no separation between toilets and bed, so fits mostly for couples. They let us pick our room and we took one with balcony of the inner yard for more tranquility.

装修复古，作为一家客栈来说，很奢华了，店里的掌柜友善，床铺舒适，房间不大，但是很整洁，总的来说，除了没有停车场外，没啥确定，BTW，酒店的浴室是没门的，开放式浴室，大开眼界，哈哈！

Après deux semaines de voyage en Chine du Sud, et la descente de la rivère Lijiang, quel plaisir de se reposer dans cet hôtel, qui est très bien situé dans le centre ville. A deux pas des commerces, des restaurants et pas loin du débarcadère, et des loueurs de vélos. Le personnel parle très bien anglais et est d'une grande gentillesse, et donne de bons conseils pour se promener en vélo dans la campagne entre les pics karstiques. Possibilité de réserver un taxi pour l'aéroport de Guilin (prix 100 yans). J'ai eu une chambre sur l'arrière, très calme avec un lit baldaquin de style chinois, literie propre et confortable, grande salle de bain avec douche et baignoire jacuzi. Bonne adresse à retenir.

We booked 3 rooms. The deluxe rooms which are the largest are good. The smaller rooms, deluxe queen and executive are awful as the beds are too large for the room with no space for anything else. Could be claustrophobic for some. The only good thing is the toilet bowl with great bidet facilities. Food in the hotel is expensive and below average. The reception limited as they are, are helpful. But remember this is an INN not a hotel. Do not expect hotel like facilities. The location is fantastic. West street is just minutes from the door. Yangshuo Pier is also 5 minutes away. No telephone in the rooms with only a kettle for hot water. I had the smaller and my bed was never made. All it had was a large comforter sitting on the oversized bed in a very small room. You hang clothings on the bed, no closet. Not sure how the other inns in Yangshuo are like. But go for the larger rooms ONLY.

Excellent séjour, excellent service de la proprio qui parle très bien anglais mais quelques difficultés de communication avec une employé de la réception. Chambre peu spacieuse mais très confortable et très organisée avec bain à jet d'eau. Malheureusement aucun mini frigo et les balcons arrières ont une vue sur cour fermée et sans intérêt et les balcons avant donnent sur la rue principale qui peut être bruyante en saison forte.

Bamboo is nondescript on outside, but when you walk in your room (mine was Deluxe), you think wow! Then reality sets in. It's like a studio with everything crammed in. Using hot tub or excessive hot shower leads to steam everywhere. Toilet is a little too revealing if you're sharing with anyone you would be embarrassed by your bathroom habits. Bed is a little stiff but OK. Good location to West street. It's a place to stay or use a hot tub, otherwise it's OK

Nos 5 étoiles à tous les critères en font l'hôtel où nous retournerons forcement ! L'accueil est adorable, notre chambre impeccable, située côté cours, donc très calme, tout en étant en plein centre piétonnier très animé et parfaitement situé pour toutes les infos et départs d'activités. On s'est vraiment régalés. Literie au top, confort moderne et jacuzzi lumineux piloté sur console directement dans le bain ! Un must après une journée bien remplie. Bref, on le recommande chaleureusement ! :-)
