Bamboo House Resort

Wonderful staff, room and location. We loved everything about the Bamboo House Resort.

This hotel has everything you need : excellent service, very clean, impressive big rooms, perfect location, very good western and chinese food, including amazing western breakfasts and coffees. The owner, a very nice and welcoming woman, understood how to make foreigners feel like home. Even for the employees, you can tell by their smiles, that they really enjoy working at this peaceful place. Any and Lily were out standing: always happy, really helpful, outgoing, speak really good English....Any called for my mom and I, to find last minute train and flights tickets. There is no way you can be disappointed. Couldn't ask for better. Even if we stayed only 2 nights , we'll keep Bamboo House and his staff in our best memories of China.

This hotel was amazing. Everything is brand new, the rooms are beautiful and they all have full bathtubs or jacuzzies. It is right off of West street and there are tons of restaurants and shopping around. The people were very friendly and spoke English. I would highly recommend this hotel to travelers.

I went to Yangshuo during the winter. The only problem I had with this hotel was the heating system did not heat up the room quick enough, so it was rather cold for me that night. Every else with this hotel was excellent, in the heart of Yangshuo, cosy rooms and very kind and helpful staff.

This hotel is right off of west street (foreigners street) - which is a walking only area full of restaurants and shops. The hotel is all newly refurbished and very clean and attractive. We stayed in the executive and delux rooms which had great jacuzzis, beautiful beds and lovely porch swings. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a little bit of luxury at a very affordable price in Yangshuo.

Maybe the best Hotel we had in our trip (and we had eg the Venetian in Macau). It is maybe not the biggest and luxuriest one but everythign was perfect. First the staff was nice and the help was good. Second the location was perfect and in walking disatance to eveyrthing important in town. The area around the hotel was cosy but in the night a little bit to noisy (but we had no problem with that) But the best thing on this hotel is the big whirlpool. Briliant. After a busy days it is the best that can happen.... It is a hidden gem!

Very nice hotel on the pedestrian streets. Close to everything. They organise all the tours one needs for a very good price. Recomend

I spent 4 nights at the Bamboo Lodge. The hotel seemed rather new, with a nice design (especially the rooms). Staff is very friendly and makes you feel a welcome guest. Not on west street (which is a good thing) but close enough. Highly recommended!

This hotel and the people who run it are incredible. We would have missed out on some amazing sites and events if it were not for their helpful advice. The tours they arranged for us went seamlessy. They even walked us to the bus station several days to ensure we got on the correct but without overpaying. We loved the private bike tour through the mountains and farmers' fields. Their interest in our daily adventures appeared genuine and they all really seemed to care greatly for the hotel and their guests. The rooms were amazingly clean and had a modern/traditional design. With beautiful hardwood floors, a jacuzzi tub, and heated toilet... the Bamboo House Resort is paradise. Thank you Annie, Sally and everyone else who helped make our stay so much fun!

This had to be by far one of the nicest hidden treasures as far as hotels go. It was very new, all the furnishings worked with out a hitch, the staff was there any time we needed, and the rooms were perfect for couples. I only got to stay a day this time, but next time I'm definitely planning for a week. I can't stress this place enough for couples looking to get away. Depending on what side of the building your on will determine how great the view is, but hopefully you won't spend too much time in the room. It's also in a prime location for site seeing and catching busses to most anywhere. You are literally a five minute walk from everywhere. Overall, this is a must for a romantic vacation or even just unwinding. The only cons which weren't cons for me is that the hotel is not designed for business or for kids (kids- unless they are super well behaved and you like to pamper them), so make sure you are really on vacation.
