Good communication with the host via WhatsApp prior to and upon arrival. The check-in instructions sent in advance were very clear. Casa Ejido is a very cosy colonial or Mediterranean type of house where bedrooms are located around a patio with a swimming pool. Our room had a small kitchenette with a fridge and a washbasin. This is very convenient. Apart from that, there is a fully equipped shared kitchen in the common area where there is also a living room, dining area and hammocks. The common area provides a good ppportunity to chat with other travelers. The room is quite spacious, with plenty of space for luggage for two people. There is a mosquito net over the bed. This is a plus, even though we didn’t need it at the beginning of January. Casa Ejido offers a very cosy and silent place to relax after sightseeing or going to the beach. Safe parking on the street. The house is well located for those of you taking a ferry to or from Cozumel: less than 20 minute drive from the ferry terminal.

I got no support from the staff regarding laundry which I asked about. It was not possible to use the washing machine in the house, and at the same time no alternatives were provided. I would have appreciated recommendations of a reliable laundry place on town.

Everything! They had a topper!!!! Such a comfy bed! The staff was helpful and forthcoming.

Internet for the smart TV was at times weak/ gone.

If you're looking for somewhere QUIET with good wifi, this is it. While the side streets are darker & quieter than the main streets, as a solo female traveler, I still felt plenty safe. I recommend going down 60 Avenida Sur (where Doki Doki is) to get here as it is more well lit & the park you walk by is fenced/walked in. There are only a couple of shadowy areas on the street at night, but you can definitely walk in the street like the locals instead of on the more shadowy sidewalks. I kept the Do Not Disturb sign posted, but the staff could easily see when I left, & yet my things were NOT tampered with nor stolen. 🔐 ✅ Each apartment has its own wi-fi router as far as I could tell. The passwords are incredibly easy, so be mindful of your privacy, but the speed was fast enough to use video chat. 🛜 ✅ The bed was one of the most comfortable I've had in PDC, & it really is so quiet at night that I had to play white noise sounds on my phone to sleep. 🤭 Make sure to pay attention to the pictures & listings because they also own the property across the street that has a shared kitchen area. However, this one was for a full studio apartment with a well equipped kitchen (pots, pans, plates, bowls, etc in the cabinets, so not pictured) including drinking water. 👩🏼‍🍳 When staying at this property, you can still use the pool across the street.

It's somewhat far away from the beach & Centro if that's your thing, but that's also what keeps the atmosphere so quiet & relaxed. If you take a shower at the same time as someone in a neighboring apartment, the water will oscillate between super burning hot and cold. 🥵🥶🚿 🥴 I tried to shower at different times to avoid this. They must have the hottest water in all of PDC. 😂 During my 16 night stay, I only had a few showers like that, so it's not much of a complaint, just something to be mindful of.

It is such a cool place! It is very special, the rooms are almost like small cabins inside the house. Nicely decorated, but still functional and comfortable. Bathroom was the best on this trip so far. Nice common area. Not many people when we visited.

The name really should not be "bed and breakfast". It is missleading since there is no breakfast available. Also it would be good to get the right adress and not the adress to the other side of the street. You could also have different codes to the keyboxes. We got in at the wrong place, but since the codes worked we thought it was right. We could even open another rooms keybox.

Perfect little cabin far from the craziness of downtown PdC but close enough to reach by foot ( about 20 min, we’re walkers)

The only thing I did not like is the fact that in our cabin there’s a slide door without any lock that gives access to the room to anyone in the area, felt strange that someone can just walk in.

Everything!! It was so great. Nice cozy apartment with kitchen. Everything super clean. Comfy bed. Working smart TV. 7 mins by car from the main avenue.

It says parking but it doesn't mean closed private parking, rather that you can park on the street. On the bride side, doesn't seem a bad area and I felt comfortable leaving the car on the street. So no issue!!

I was here 12 days after two days on 5th av. Excellent value, clean everything, pool well maintained. Location far enough away from 5th av but close for walk back at night for drinks. Short walk to supermarket(lots wine & beer) plenty of good street food (tacos galore) and small restaurants. Around the corner on main drag small place for breakfast, chorizo omelet rice, beans, tortilla 55 peso. Delicious.
