Amazing staff, so friendly and welcoming. They couldn't do enough to help. Very dog friendly. The food was lovely and the bar /lounge area was so comfortable. Will definitely return and stay there on every trip back to yorkshire

Staff when we checked in were very pleasant and helpful. Excellent meal in the restaurant in the evening.

Arrived at 9am for breakfast which is the time we had booked ahead of our stay. The waiter greeted us by saying "we have been waiting for you we stop service in 5 minutes" Your information says breakfast is served until 9.30am. Before our hot food arrived we were asked if we'd finished with the buffet as they wanted to clear it away! When breakfast finally arrived 30 minutes after ordering it was lukewarm, fried eggs were hard. Very disappointing and no staff in the restaurant after bringing our hot/warm food out. Reception were very apologetic when we checked out and didn't charge for breakfast which we appreciated.

Sehr netter Empfang. Ruhige Lage. Sauber. Park bzw. Golfplatz zum Spazierengehen. Sehr atmosphärische alte Kirche in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Starke Unterschiede zwischen gepflegten und nicht gepflegten Gebäudeteilen. Es wird allerdings offen kommuniziert, dass die ganze Anlage seit dem Eigentümerwechsel 2022 noch im Umbruch ist. Dennoch wirken Flure, der Aufzug, Dächer und Fassaden abseits des sehr schönen Hauptgebäudes vernachlässigt. Es war aber für unsere Übernachtung nicht relevant. Bei einem längeren Aufenthalt wäre es anders gewesen. An einem Nachbargebäude sind Bauarbeiten im Gange. Während unserer Übernachtung ruhten die Arbeiten offenbar.
