We had a wonderful time, hotel was clean and friendly people. My husband gives it an A+.

The room was very clean. They offer a free breakfast but it’s not much really st all, just toast,yogurt, waflfle, orange juice, cereal and milk but it’s free so can’t complain too much. The bed was comfortable and I loved the pillows, the only thing I’d the blankets could be thicker. Overall pretty comfortable.

No complaints about our stay... Hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly... The bed was comfortable also!

It was a very lovely get away for us and was very quiet.

Booked a room online for 3 nights and on the way here added one more night. Booked a pet room and when we arrived they told us they no longer have pet rooms. Wanted to know why we didn't phone to verify. Why book online and turn around to verify? Ended up driving to New Iberia to get room. Drove 3 days to get here and no room. Seeing previous reviews, probably the best thing that happened. Recommend staying elsewhere.

We stayed here because there were no rooms available at Cypress Bayou , and Ambassador Inn and Suites offers a shuttle to the casino. Also, the room rate at Ambassador was half the price I would have paid at the casino hotel. The front desk attendant at check in was very friendly, and we were able to check in early. The room was clean and comfortable. I was a little surprised that there was no coffee maker or mini fridge (for leftovers);however, when I looked back, the amenities were as described. We arrived for the continental breakfast to find it depleted, but it was quickly replenished for us so that we were able to have our coffee after all. For the price and the location, we were overall satisfied with our stay and would consider staying there again.

The room was very plain amenity wise for the price charged. Barbara, at the front desk, was absolutely amazing. Will come back.

Trinity and other staff members were very nice and helpful. The facility is another story. My understanding is that this place is under new management. The new owner decided he was going to cut back on what is available to his customer. One of the reasons why I chose this hotel is because it advertised having a refrigerator, microwave, iron/ironing boarding and hair dryer in each room. We had to ask for a refrigerator, iron and ironing boarding. We had to leave our room and go to the lobby to use the one small microwave. Our stay was from Thursday, December 7th thru Monday, December 11th. We checked in after driving from New Orleans airport. The room was cold, so we ranked up the heater to 80 degrees. The smoke alarm went off. The room smelled like an electrical fire. We moved to the next room. Overnight until midday on Friday, it snowed. We woke up to no electricity and no back up generator. Staff was off due to the unexpected snow. It was the first downfall since 1988. Electricity is finally restored. The manager had to do the laundry because there was no housekeeping available. We soon discovered that we were right next to the laundry room. The noise was excruciating, so we moved to another room. No more than 15 minutes into the room the smoke alarm began to beep because the battery was low. There was no maintenance available on the weekend so the Manager tried getting on the ladder to change the battery. She couldn't reach it, so we were offered another room. This time we thought to check the heater. The room filled with smoke when the heating unit was turned on, so we decided to stay in the room with the beeping smoke detector. The Manager was unaware of the steps needed to change the battery in the smoke detector so she called the Owner. The Owner instructed her to just pull the wires to disconnect the smoke detector. It was left that way. With all of the trouble and inconvenience, we were offered to have one night free. I have never experienced so much trouble in one hotel. I will be returning to Louisiana, but not to this hotel.

I will never stay at this hotel again. First, I booked with hotels.com and they did not honor the price I was quoted. they also did not have the room I booked. I was here celebrating my birthday at a concert down the street therefore I could not go anywhere else. I was given a room with 2 double beds instead of a king. I was told they just can't control how the rooms are booked. The manager had an attitude and unfortunately I could not go elsewhere. She told me she would credit my account 20.00 for the inconvenience but that never happened. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again.
