Ambassador Inn & Suites

We decided to give this place another try since they are under new management and we were not disappinted! Very nicely renovated rooms, ample breakfast, free shuttle service to casino, staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Will definitely stay again and recommend to all we know.

This place is great.This Place is completely rennovated..The hotel is 2 miles from Cypress Bayou Casino.The hotel was very clean and provided great hospitality.The Staff is very helpful.The breakfast was also good.Shuttle service avaible upon request to cypress.The place is under new management and in great condition.

Checked in to hotel for fam reunion eben after most of the fam switched to another hotel. Desk clerk was friendly and very helpful...only bright spot in the stay. Room was not clean, there were items left from previous guests. There were spiders in entrance and bathroom. Water in showers was cold. 'Breakfast' was a joke. We were told breakfast hours was 6 to 9, went to get something at 0738 but there was only 2 slices of bread, a few containers of yogurt, cereal and a waffle maker. The hit chocolate was thick as mud. I rented 3 rooms and they were all the same. Will not stay here again.

I printed out my conformation page because I read reviews that said others had trouble. Sure enough, they couldn't find my booking. I showed them my paper and they magically appeared. BEWARE, FALSE ADVERTISING! No shuttle, no refrigerator, no microwave, no coffee pot, they don't even have a closet, just a nook, no internet and don't even get me started on the "breakfast"! When I showed a copy of advertised amenities, the desk clerk rudely flipped her hair back and said "Oh that no longer applies" "We were taken over by another company" The price was even higher due to "extra taxes"! Shady place! I should have listened to the reviews.

Overall appearance of the room seemed used, stained floors, and bed linen! How to ask for more linen due to the stains on them Corners in the bathroom on the floor filthy with Dust & dirt. NEVER EVER GO THERE!! I wish I would have thought to take pictures of the bed linen, with what appeared to be blood stains.

I booked online. When I got there I was not welcomed, just processed. The girl at the front desk couldn't find my reservation, so as a customer service representative, she huffed and puffed and looked annoyed. Was it me? Was she having a bad day? Does she hate her job? I'm not sure but I was glad I had my confirmation number since she then pulled it right up with my name. After some more huffing and puffing and me sheepishly following her back an forth to two computers she printed out my room keys. It may help the management who apparently is fine with this type of representative for me to give her name, but they don't wear name tags. Heck, maybe she doesn't eve work there. I got my keys after she let me know there was some issue about the credit card and we parted ways as if we had just broken off a relationship. I went to the room to find the bed unmade and the TV on. I'm glad that's all I ran into. I went back down to more huffing and puffing as she printed out a new set of keys to a room that wasn't occupied. Well let's just put this behind us and I'll be on that shuttle to the casino you advertised. So much for that, the shuttle is apparently having a bad week as well and in the shop. At $110 a night, I guess a rental for that establishment would have put them in bankruptcy. I'm really not a complainer but at that rate I expected a bit more than what I was not given. As long as I’m at it, those were the most uncomfortable pillows I have ever had to sleep with, and I do consider myself a pillow expert. I can even overlook the 6 year old establishment looking 20 years old with broken elevator buttons and smelly carpets. But, when your one of the only games in town I guess you can get away with that sort of nonsense.

The beds were something I would have seen at a trash bin, the air condition smelled of mold ,there was no bed skirt, old worn out box springs exposed,in need of updating, the lobby was horribly hot when I checked in at 7 said laundry was being done, don't think I will stay again

We were so disappointed! My family stayed there to attend my grandmother's funeral (2rooms). They charged us for three and claimed we had a late checkout when we left to go to the funeral which was at 9 am. Unbelievable!! Refused to refund the additional charge! We fully believe they took advantage of us coming in from out of state.

We booked this hotel for a girls trip. The owner is awesome! Friendly, helpful, and customer focused. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Some cosmetic improvements could be made but its not a bad place to stay. I believe the hotel has recently changed owners so as time goes on I'm sure the new owner will make this a great hotel.

We enjoyed our stay. Had no problems.Room was clean and comfortable. The staff was professional and courteous. We would stay here again when in the area. Shuttle service to the casino was $5 one way. $10 is way better than getting a DWI after a night of drinking and gambling. For events like the Kansas concert we went to see, the Casino hotel fills up quickly and we were very happy to be able to get a great room at a great price.
