Hotel Boutique Casa Don Gustavo, Campeche

The hotel is an old 19th Century, if not earlier, residence in the heart of the Spanish colonial city with only ten rooms, and a short walk from the malecon. It had charming courtyards and was absolutely magical. Room, staff, breakfast, room all up to first class international standards. A real treat in a really lovely Mexican city.

There is nothing, absolutely nothing that could justify a price of 250 US$ for this dark and humid just average hotel room. I expected a wonderful hotel, it is the most expesive in Campeche, and was deeply dissapointed. Beds were the poorest on our journey. The hotel is located at the busiest street in the historic center. Definitely never again.

Excelente estancia, el personal muy amable, la habitación hermosa, amplia, silenciosa y limpia. Inmejorable ubicación para conocer la ciudad.

Excelente hotel, instalaciones cuidadas, amplias, habitaciones con gran espacio. Todo el staff amable y listo a apoyarte. Restaurante bueno para desayunos. Sin duda vale la pena hospedarse aquí

The hotel needs a good refurbishment. My stay was not great - the lights went out for 1 night and 1 day, the water was full of rust and the A/C did not work (and made lots of noises) The staff tried their best to help, but they couldn't do much. A pity, but it was not a great stay
