Hotel Moselebauer

Had to stay in the area for a business trip and choose the known Hotel Moselebauer, as the rate/value seemed to be interesting. Although we got "the old" rooms they were pretty nice and had a balcony and nice equipment. the kitchen is excellent, the serivce friendly and the SPA is quite big . with a very large indoor & outdoor pool. If you are in the region - worth to try and enjoy.

nice enough room and decent food, however impossible to sleep due to noise from bar, from people outside under the window, and talking in hallway outside room. i am not a person who is unusually sensitive to ambient noise.

If this hotel would present itself as the average countryside hotel that it is there wouldn't be any problem, but unfortunately this place is trying to market itself as a wellness and seminar hotel. For the wellness part it might qualify due to the whirlpool, fitness area, etc. but it definitely does not qualify as a hotel for business purposes. The meeting rooms are poorly equipped and the more one looks at details the worse it gets. The wifi coverage is very poor since rooters are constantly rebooting. The food is quite good, but unfortunately a big number of plates, glasses, mugs and cutlery is not clean. Furthermore I think it's inappropriate for a 4 star hotel to use glasses and carafes from Ikea. This hotel would be a very nice 2 star hotel but never meets the criteria for the 4 stars it has

I found this hotel by chance! And it was really fantastic! Perfect location if you want to have some rest, great view from the room, a very pleasant wellness area with pools, even one outdoor, saunas, turkish baths, kneip and all the other facilities, the food was very good and there was a large choice both for breakfast, both for dinner. Price is fair for all the services and facilities the hotel offers. the only negative thing: too many children that were making too much noises in the pools! i hope to come back again!

If you need a nice place in mountains with a pool and sauna it's a good choice. Very nice place to relax. Because of location place was full of people Friday evening and Saturday. On Sunday most guests left and it became a quiet place. Rooms have a nice view of the mountains. Food was nothing special, 4 star hotel should offer something better. The biggest problem is that smoking is allowed in the lobby. Sitting there in the evening wasn't that pleasant.

Hotel Moselebauer was simply excellent. Myself and girlfriend decided to take a trip down there from Vienna last weekend after receiving an extremely good deal through a voucher website. We were not really expecting too much, we just wanted to get out of the city for the weekend. We were completely surprised as to how great the hotel was. The wellness and fitness areas are superb (I don't think I have ever had so much choice in a spa facility before). The sun terrace with the outdoor pool was also a highlight, and with a great view of the mountains also. The room was absolutely fine, everything clean and everything needed was provided. There are also plenty of activities to do there, with quad biking etc (which was also top class!). The hotel itself is run entirely by 1 (or 2) families and they were more than welcoming to all guests, we were even offered a drink to celebrate one of the son's 20th birthdays. The restaurant was great, with a superb choice of food for both breakfast and dinner. Also, on top of that the afternoon snack (or jause as it is called in German) was fantastic, plenty of cold meats, soup, bread, leberkase and sausages, as well as deserts. Overall we had a fantastic weekend, and were sad to leave the place! We are already looking forward to our trip there in Winter for a bit of skiing.
