The Fitzwilliam Hotel

Didn't make breakfast as wasn't told the times as arrived late

Room could have been brighter and more air

We stayed there as we were attending a party being held there. The room was drab. No plug on a tiny sink. Breakfast was poor; having to order at reception, we then waited over an hour and finally gave up and left. The items you could serve yourself had mostly run out: no cups and no water in the boiler. Locals that arrived 30 mins into our waiting had breakfast served before us and many other guests also waiting. Just a shambles.

Staff were fabulous and made us feel welcome at the karaoke

Rooms were tied. Not the cleanest probably more suited to contractors

The food was really good, carvery!

The bathroom was a bit dirty, had mould around ther shower base and had bits all over the floor. Remote for TV wasnt the right one, had to use manual controls on the TV itself.
