Friendliness and helpfulness

The breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly.

We had two single rooms. Number 5 - the bed was not acceptable. It was very uncomfortable. The hot water tap had no pressure and just a small trickle. The bathroom bin had not been emptied from the previous guests. It was noisey due to the coolers for the cellar under the window. Room 8 - The decor was a little tied but acceptable. The toilet seat would not stand up. The shower has 3 heat settings - burning, scolding and far too hot. The hotel must be aware of this problem.

Lovely location and staff.

A little worn, particularly in the bathroom. A mistake was made in no towels being put in the room (although very rapidly resolved when reported to staff).

Short walk to town centre. Quite location
