Great hotel, clean, everything you need right in the centre of the town incl. parking. Staff are friendly, accommodating and it’s the warmest welcome we have had from any hotel we have stayed in. They allow us to park our motorbikes in the secure courtyard which is a huge plus when you are loaded with gear. I always book this hotel for that reason. Property is old which adds character so occasionally facilities can go faulty but the staff are quick to resolve and very responsive to any requests.

Staff, reception could not be more helpful, lovely

Was extremely hot, no air con, I am aware of the Grade 1 listing, but surely comfort should be paramount for guests, was told no dinner on offer although we did stay on a Sunday

My welcome was warm and professional. The staff were all pleasant and efficient. The bed was comfortable.

The room (room 101) needs freshening up with a coat of paint, skirting boards and walls are chipped. The curtains were difficult for me to pull across. The floor in the bathroom is very slippery even when dry.
