Widbrook Grange

Nice quiet location. Super friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Excellent breakfasts. One very good dinner. Nice rooms to lounge in. Fabulous gin selection. Whiskies not bad either. Excellent bed, bedding and pillow cases. Decent shower and bath. Toiletries replaced every day. Lots of things to like about Widbrook Grange but it needs money spending on it. See below.

The carpet in the dining room is totally worn out. Carpet in the bedroom had begun to separate at a join. Tired wardrobe and chest of drawers furniture. Sofa a bit grubby. Small line of mould on the shower tray. Needed a knife to lift up bathtub plug.

Dinner was very good.

Would have liked a comfortable chair in our room.

Lovely room, little bit hot in there but was hot everywhere

If you are seeking a quiet and cozy English countryside retreat, this is the perfect place. The rooms are a good size, and the beds are very comfortable. The accommodations are clean, and the bathrooms feature large towels. The property also includes a swimming pool and a small gym. The breakfast offered is delicious, and we enjoyed a lovely dinner one evening. It is conveniently located about a 20-minute drive from Bath and just 5 minutes from a charming town.

The property landscape needs some cleanup, such as weeding and new grass seeds, to enhance its charm.

Everything was so clean and quirky. Loved that it had a swimming pool which we had to ourselves. Staff was lovely. They had a very good selection of non alcoholic gins on top of the alcoholic ones, as someone who doesn't drink I found this really good. We are deffinatly going to be going back again.
