Beautiful setting high above Gloucester. Beautiful building with plenty of character

No bath curtain - difficult to keep bathroom floor water free

The Hatton Court Hotel is lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely stay with our dogs. The hotel is very pet friendly . We would recommend this hotel.

A great experience. Everything was just right. The staff are so good, welcoming, friendly, helpful and attentive. Th whole experience was so enjoyable. Lovely hotel, fabulous position, great room wonderful service and good food. I would certainly recommend a visit and I will certainly be back

Lovely location. Quiet with beautiful view, we were lucky enough to have a sunny day and sit outside Helpful and friendly staff. Room was clean, but the bathroom was a bit tired, but everything worked well Staff were welcoming and friendly, food was excellent and overall the value was good, although I would have preferred to leave own tip rather than the 12.5 they added, although you were given the option to remove it. It was our second visit and there will be a third. Lovely hotel and team

Lovely setting, sufficiently close to Cheltenham races and reasonably priced for Gold Cup day.

Rooms a bit tired. Some basics though that there are simply no excuses for e.g. cobwebs in the windows, which suggests they hadn't been cleaned for some time. No heating on in room on arrival, although it did heat up reasonably quickly. No bath mat for the shower which was slippery. Simple things which would improve things.

We had a lovely 2 night stay, comfortable rooms and lovely location. We were looked after extremely well by the staff who were all very helpful. But Zak was particularly helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Scarlett was very bright and friendly at breakfast, again nothing was too much trouble for her too, breakfast choice was very extensive. Our son and partner are going for 2 nights in Aoril on our recommendation.
