Hatton Court Hotel

We stayed one night. Fabulous people, right from reception through to bar service and evening meal to breakfast. All wonderfully welcoming, efficient, attentive and extremely well mannered. The room was very good. well decorated and warm (very, very warm - in hindsight, we should have turned the radiator off.) The food was excellent and well presented.

Terrific location (expansive views from the terrace). Very nice hotel and rooms, comfortable and to a high standard. Very nice restaurant and lounge. Excellent menu. Overall very nice stay and highly recommended

This was our second stay in 4 months, and we had another lovely room. This time we were in the east wing (annex…..up some stone steps), in one of the refurbished rooms, which was absolutely stunning. Very comfortable 6ft bed, decent outlook, fabulous shower room. Dinner was great, and the evening staff were very personable. Josh is particularly fantastic. Breakfast was a huge letdown (again!). Ready prepared fruit was tinned mandarins, tinned prunes, and tinned peaches. I really think there should be a fresh fruit salad bowl, as in comparable hotels. The tinned fruit was like something out of the 60s. Yet again, the ‘fresh’ fruit comprised of a few items of apples and oranges that had clearly seen better days. The cooked breakfast…..my husband really liked his full cooked, and I asked if it would be possible to have a small omelette please, but apparently it’s not possible to cook an omelette (?!?!), so I opted for eggs Florentine. This was virtually inedible as the chef had gone overboard with the salt. Undeterred, I tried a croissant. Just like on our previous visit, the croissants were stale. I asked for a fresh one and was told they were fresh, (no way!!) and there were no more. This had also been the case when we stayed in December. All I ever want for a hotel breakfast is some good quality fresh fruit, a fresh croissant, an omelette and a good cup of coffee. My breakfast was immensely disappointing, and it was exactly the same scenario in December. I really think my points should be considered please. The driveway and car park need resurfacing……go slowly once you turn in….lots of potholes. We shall definitely stay again as the room and dinner were great, and the evening staff were wonderful, but the breakfast standard really needs sorting, and it would be good if the driveway could be improved at some point please.

Our executive room was spacious well-presented and clean. The jacuzzi bath was exceptionally luxurious .. it filled quickly and drained quickly and was so relaxing. The bed in our room was very comfortable and we both slept extremely well. Our stay was for our wedding anniversary and the hotel kindly gave us a glass of prosecco each and the chef made a special anniversary plate with our names iced on it. Our meal was delicious and also the breakfast. The service and attention we received to make our stay special was incredible I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Excellent in terms of the attention to detail. Food was top quality . Our room has superb views. The standard of cleanliness in all areas was really topclass. Overall an excellent choice for our break.

We loved the location, the ambiance, the beauty, the peacefulness of the location, the heated toilets. The heated toilet might have been my favorite part.

Visited here several times and always satisfied. Staff friendly . Food good but some dishes are rather overpriced for what they are. Also this time we were in the annexe . Not ideal when up two flights of stairs when in your 80’s! We asked if there was availability in the main house but apparently not. We will visit again though and try and ensure a room in the main hotel.
