The Berburry

The hotel itself beautiful and only a short walk to the sea. Each room is unique and designed with every little detail. There are tea & making facilities with biscuits replenished each day. Everything is spotless with luxury toiletries in the bathroom. The breakfast is outstanding everything cooked crashed to order, lots of choice including smoked salmon, pancakes & avocado with homemade fruit compote yogurts. The hosts Steve and Wendy are extremely helpful & friendly and made us feel at home. Wendy bakes every day where guests can help themselves in the dining room along with fresh milk & water for the room. They were divine including millionaires shortbread and cherry Bakewell. Thank you so much for making us feel at home & relaxed! Will definitely stay again in the future.

Friendliness, comfort, facilities. Location

Nothing was bad.

The rooms were comfortable, the hotel was within a few minutes walk from the sea. Breakfast was excellent. Our hosts were exceptional and couldn't do enough for us.

Excellent Accommodation and very good breakfasts. Hosts very genial and offered Excellent advice on what was worth visiting and the easiest means of getting there.

Brilliant building and brillant hosts!

Everything, always planned to go torquay but didn't book until the night before. They swiftly messaged me and said the room would be ready so we could check in earlier, which was perfect, so we didn't have to carry a bag around all day. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming on arrival and throughout the stay, even leaving a birthday card for my partner in the room. There is an honesty bar with very good prices and a fridge with complimentary water, milk, and a homemade cake for your room, which was delicious, by the way. The hotel is so clean and smells beautiful throughout. The tiny touches show they go all out and love their business. Comfy beds, covers, and towels that are lovely and thick. The breakfast was honestly so good, and even if they charged extra, it would still be worth it. It's a nice easy stroll down to the sea front with beautiful scenery. I'm glad we found this hotel and will definitely stay again.
