Felt like home and cozy Breakfast was exceptional Wendy and Steve were both lovely

We had a wonderful stay at the Berburry. Wendy and Steve were exceptional hosts nothing was ever too much trouble and they made us feel so welcome. Location was perfect, just a pleasant 10 minute stroll to the beachfront with plenty to see and do nearby. Breakfast was varied, plentiful and absolutely delicious.

Perfect location not far from train station and a short walk down to the harbour Great hosts Wendy and Steve ,super friendly ! They run this fabulous B & B with exceptional rooms and a great choice in breakfasts offered every morning … highly recommend to anyone thinking of booking , you won’t be disappointed!

Not a thing to dislike as it’s perfect !

Just got back from a wonderful 3 night stay at the Burburry hotel. The hosts Wendy and Steve made us feel so welcome, the breakfast was amazing, the room was clean and well decorated, they also had a honesty bar well stocked with wine spirits and a selection of beers and soft drinks, again a well decorated bar area and snug ,it felt very comfortable. We usually sat outside in the garden which was very pretty and well maintained.The hotel had parking but we parked in the street ouside the hotel which had plenty of spaces available. It was about a 10 min relatively flat walk to the beach and 15 min to bars and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this Hotel.

We have just returned home from a 2 night stay at The Berburry, one of the best stays we’ve had, Wendy and Steve are a lovely couple who ooze niceness, very friendly and accommodating. Personal touches in the rooms just make your stay more comfortable, breakfast was delicious, cooked to order fresh and hot! and those brownies, wow. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

The room was fabulous light and airy, very warm welcome - spotlessly clean, honesty bar, bottles of water milk and cake - outstanding breakfast - lovely hosts that can’t do enough to Maye your stay perfect / felt at home the minute we got there. Great location away from the noise. Free parking

Wendy and Steve are fantastic hosts. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. There was a homely feel, and nothing was too much bother for them or their staff. They have amazing breakfast choices that are cooked to perfection. The fridge with bottled water and extra milk to help yourself, too, was a great idea, and their honesty bar is well stocked, and the prices are great. The location of the hotel is great, with a ten minute walk to the harbour. We would highly recommend staying here and would book again.

Wendy & Steve we’re extremely welcoming and helpful! They gave amazing advice and the hotel room was really spacious and comfortable.
