Very cozy and friendly, feels like staying at someone’s house. Also good location, central without being in the busiest part of town.

Perhaps the noise, would recommend upper floor rooms

The charming old style building with wooden floors and great views of the city and Table Mountain. It is well located for access to the city, beaches and waterfront. Everyone was super friendly.

Friendly staff and nice room. Good breakfast. Mark, the owner and Janet made stay very pleasant and were extremely helpful and accommodating.

Quite a walk from downtown. Some road noise which was noticeable but a minor point.

I loved this wonderful old Cape Town property with its period features, views of the City and Table Mountain, and its location close to the CPD, the Waterfront and all the wonderful eateries on nearby Kloof Street. Mark and his team make you very welcome and the breakfast hits the spot. I stayed in Room 1 on the upstairs level which was very spacious, looked on to the upstairs balcony and was very comfortable

I was a bit worried about being close to a busy road as I’m a light sleeper, but wasn’t an issue at all and I slept soundly.

A stones throw from everything one needs in Cape Town. Easy to find and with a beautiful view over the City Bowl. Mark and his lovely ladies working away made for a friendly and welcoming team. Nothing was too much trouble.

Personal preference but I’d prefer not hearing my neighbours directly above me chatting and moving about. Historical house, I can’t have it all.

Excellent GuestHouse. The house is very nice, full of natural light and well-maintained. Very clean, with nice common spaces where you can relax. Very good breakfast (thank you, Janet!) and good environment. The location is very good too, quiet neighbourhood, walking distance to the centre.
