Private and quiet location

Great location, only about 10-15 min walk down hill to the Harbour/main strip/shops and restaurants. Privacy of your own little villa and pool but you also have somewhere to eat breakfast and go for a drink. Staff very welcoming on arrival with a drink of either tea/coffee or cava. Also on hand 9am-9pm just sending a WhatsApp to the reception.

We’ve previously stayed in a classic villa which was lovely but wanted to stay in one of the others this time round so went with the grand deluxe, which was really nice but there seemed to be ants everywhere, which you do expect if you leave food out but we didn’t and they were all over the bedside cabinets, the coffee table, the microwave. As much as we cleaned the surfaces they just kept reappearing. All round the pool we had hundreds of ants too which meant you couldn’t sit on the side of the pool. This could be as half the garden was grassed, whereas the classic villa didn’t have any grass and we never saw any ants. One of the toilets kept flushing so we had to keep pressing it again to stop it otherwise it wouldn’t stop. Our outside lights went off mid holiday which tripped all the lights in the villa, we did have to ask twice for someone to come look at this before they arrived, it took 4 people a good hour to get it back on. Luckily we did disconnect the outside lights ourselves while waiting to get the villa lights back on otherwise we wouldn’t have had any lights for 2 days. The WiFi didn’t work on one of the tvs, someone had to come out twice to get this on for us. The air con on arrival didn’t seem to get down to the lowest at 16 degrees but we expected it might take a while so went out for the night. We realised when we came back that the air con switches off again, so had to set it back to 16. We both couldn’t sleeo that first night as the rooms were so hot. The next day we let staff know but on coming back to the villa it still hadn’t been sorted. On messaging through to them again they advised they had it to turned to heat at their side. Once the changed this we managed to get it down to 16. The original pictures we saw of the villa showed fabric sofas but on arrival they were leather, which you do usually expect abroad but they were quite uncomfortable which was the same as in the classic villa.

It was a beautiful safe resort and easily walkable down to the strip but a short taxi ride uphill home

Sometimes in the more windy days a lot of leaves fall into the pool

Pool

Very old furniture and kitchen. Dirty backyard. Cigarettes left in the garden and even after we told them we had quite a few left. Dryer and washer also not good. For a deluxe villa not appropriate

Staff were so lovely, attentive and helpful! Amazing to have own pool and so much space. Breakfast delicious and in lovely setting.
