The location was good

The windows were filthy. Phone did not work and was not fixed as promised. The outside stairs were unsafe.

Location was good. Breakfast was good.

Floor in room was so dirty my feet turned black when I walked across the room. Hotel charged me 35 dollars to park my boat trailer even though there was plenty of room to park. No washcloths provided even after I asked. Place was rundown and dirty.

Room smelled really bad like cigarettes and we have change room twice and we won’t ever book at this hotel for life.

$35 charge for boat trailer. I was also told you had a boat launch and fish cleaning station when I booked. Didn’t have either.

Great place for a wedding!

Staff very nice for check in

We did not use the spa! It was closed and had to make an appointment. The dining room menu was not much choice. The breakfast was good eggs could have been could a little more but the whole setup was great. We booked because of the pool and hot tub but did not use it felt really cold. The hot tub was closed so that part was disappointing other than that we really enjoyed our stay. Water front is beautiful.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you were requesting something, they would try their best to help out. The location is beautiful right on Lake Simcoe and it has an amazing view of a light house and the lake.

It's very run down, dirty, grimy and the breakfast was very unappealing with minimal items. We stayed in a room not attached to the main building. In the mornings there were issues with flushing the toilet as there were other people in this block of rooms using the toilet or showering and it effected the ability to flush the toilet in our room. You could hear gurgling and air pockets coming out of the toilet when someone else flushed in another room. The paint in the bathroom was just a base coat. It was all blotchy and didn't cover the walls. It was a very rushed job that was incomplete. Regarding towels, the hotel does not provide washcloths. We also had to call the front desk to see if we could get some more towels for our second night stay. They said that they didn't have any available, but when they did have some, they would send them to our room. When we returned to our room later on, the towels were in a plastic bag on the door handle outside the room. The doors were very dirty and grimy and could really use a good wipe down/sanitizing. You could clearly see other peoples hand and finger prints all over the doors. The light switch for the bathroom was on the outside of the bathroom. If you did turn the bathroom light on, it would also turn the hall light on outside of the bathroom. If you had to use the washroom in the night, you'd wake everyone else up in the room by turning on the light. We didn't attempt the pool! For the breakfast they had minimal items available and a lot had run out. This hotel had cute little paddle boats that maybe were rented out at one point in time, but the paddle boats were not kept properly and are all becoming run down and are randomly placed around the property which is an eye sore. Also some of the other guests were unruly or sitting outside of their rooms drinking and carrying on. There was one man in particular that sat outside of his room for hours crying on the balcony.
