Reef Point Cottages

The cabin was okay but definitely could use some maintenance inside. Most of the blinds didn’t work properly, the kitchen sink wasn’t draining properly, kitchen table was rickity, and most importantly the queen bed and pullout bed need replacing as they were very uncomfortable.

The caretaker at Reef Cottages has no customer service skills and overall was rude to deal with. We booked a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage. On day of checkin, the caretaker texted me to try to avoid using the bath/shower in main bathroom as much as possible due to a leak. Not once did he apologize for the inconvenience. We briefly had to use the shower which caused a huge leak into the living room. We received a small discount but this was only after we had to ask for it. The caretaker only communicated via text and his responses were short and rude. There were lots of ants in the kitchen and overall furniture is rundown. The cottage is overpriced for what you get, not to mention you have to deal with a rude caretaker. I would not recommend staying here.

We stayed at this property for 3 nights. The location was excellent — very peaceful, with beautiful views and close access to several great trails. However, the house itself is in need of some attention. It’s clear that it could benefit from several upgrades and renovations. With some improvements, this could be a truly wonderful getaway spot. For now, it’s best suited for guests who prioritize location over luxury.

Beds were pretty hard. Hot tub would have been nice but only offered in the winter which is strange because it was still a cold weekend there. The bathroom upstairs leaked so we couldn’t use it.

Walkable to beaches, lighthouse and trails.

Comfortable bed, kitchen, sofa comfortable Spiral staircase was a bit noisy when used, and felt a little Undersized.

The location and cabin were great. The only complaint we had was the twin bed option. My husband fell out of the bed once and would have preferred a King size option or two Full beds.
