Reef Point Cottages

We stayed at this property for three nights and truly enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, beautiful views, and close proximity to scenic trails. An ideal location for nature enthusiasts. However, the cottage itself was quite dated and in need of significant maintenance. Our family of four had only one small room to share, which made the stay a bit cramped. The bathroom was especially concerning, with visible rust and a considerable amount of mold. With some much-needed upgrades and renovations, this property has the potential to be a wonderful retreat, but in its current state, it falls short of expectations for comfort and cleanliness.

Comfy, convenient, clean, good beds and appliances. Generally well equipped.

Needs some maintenance to keep on top of the wear and tear. On the expensive side of value for money.

The beds were comfortable and the property manager did respond to our smoke detector issues.

The cottage was filthy. The front door had a gap as it wasn’t hung properly. The bathtub Jacuzzi jets were full of mold, the toilet roll hanger was falling off the wall and looked like it was made by a kid in shop class. The tub stopper was old, cracked and dry. The kitchen had one teaspoon and no sharp knives. The smoke detector was chirping for a new battery (shouldn’t there be a replacement schedule for safety reasons?) and the property manager replaced the batteries while we were at dinner. It started again in the night and we removed the batteries. As a kicker, we were reawakened by what sounded like a wounded animal. Turns out the manager’s dog stays in the unstaffed office below the unit we rented and it suffers from separation anxiety. It only calmed down when the manager came on site and entered the office. Oh—I mustn’t forget the toilet was clogged on the final night. It was so swell to stay here.

Great cabin with a loft, but the ladder was not provided, so the loft was not accessible. Expedia says hot tub available but only select two bedroom cabins have them. Great location close to surfing and long beaches.

The cabins and property served all our needs. I was travelling with a 10' utility trailer carrying my kayaks and bikes . There was a nice safe and accommodatinging area for my trailer for three days. I will definatley be back.

Cute and cozy cottages

Overall, the property was great, the bedrooms were great. The small pullout couch in the loft was fantastic. It's cosy cute little cottage. The refrigerator was not great, there was no veggie drawer. So the whole bottom part of the fridge was unusable, and the door had no holders so you couldn't put anything in the door. And it was very small, you couldn't even fit a frozen pizza in the freezer. And there was nowhere to put your dry food, simple open shelving beside the upper cabinets. There is space for it, it would've been extremely helpful just to put cereals and bread, etc.. As there's no counter space either. Missing window coverings on the glass doors in the bedroom downstairs. We had to hang a blanket across it to darken the room and add privacy. The downstairs heater was greatly appreciated. And the bed linens that were offered were great. The bathroom was great, the shower was great, the shampoo conditioner, and body wash they offer from a local company called The den was amazing. We went and purchased some of it from the store in town. Communication for when you need a towels or a question was amazing, and they were quick to answer and help. Location was great, walkable to beaches. And quick drive into town, restaurants and shopping.
