Reef Point Cottages

We arrived late at night and the cottage had the lights on upon arrival which was a lovely touch, made it feel like coming home. The cottage had everything we needed and was clean and cosy. Perfect location too. Easy to locate and even easier getting in and out of the cottage. Lovely stay!

Cottage needs renovation, rusty heaters, plug behind bed falling off, no switch to turn main hot plate on.

I liked that all the bedding and towels sets were clean and organized

The cottage has a slightly musty smell, and it is not because of the environment outside. The BBQ was dirty, and the bathroom door didn't lock, this is basically the reasons for my score.

Charming and cozy cottage in an idyllic setting, just a short walk to two beautiful Pacific beaches. The cottage is well-equipped and maintained. Really first-class and friendly.

Rustic and cute. The gentleman in the office was fantastic!

Remember to clean under the hidabed cushions. There was a lot of food crumbs and dirt I had to brush off the bed once I opened it up. Also found kids toys and socks underneath 😝

We have stayed in this group of cottages a number of times. The location is perfect and they are pet friendly.

The last couple of times we have stayed at Reef Point we’ve noticed things are starting to get pretty run down and in need of some TLC. We understand they are privately owned so this isn’t probably the responsibility of the Strata. In this one, #9, The bathroom door is broken on the inside, the bathroom sink drips into the drain making a very annoying noise in the night, the LED lights are overly glaring and should be exchanged for a softer white. The kitchen is lacking basic things like an egg spatula and a cutting board but was otherwise fine. These are all just small things but they do start to add up and are cheap to resolve.

Location was good.

Very obviously dirty, run down and uncared for. Evidenced by dust bunnies, cobwebs, wads of dog fur, stains on furniture, faint smell of rotten food through the whole place, as well as food smears and particles on ALL the dishes and utensils. The hot tub was like sitting in a warm kiddy pool. Every corner that they could cut, they cut. I saved up time and money for this little get away and I left feeling so low and disappointed.
