Horizon Manor Hotel

Ben Sassi is the rudest man I have ever met. He would not allow me to charge my phone even though I was a guest at the hotel. One of the security grabbed and pulled me and Ben Sassi allowed it to happen.

We bookd this hotel through Qatar Airways (4* hotel with stopover package) - has nothing to do with 4* - dirty place and has weird party nights on the roof bar. When we were cheking out at 5 am, hotel staff was "checking in" additional guests to hotel rooms and the concierge used "house taxi" to the airport, which was dirty and wasy too expensive but hotel personnel was "unable" to book a decent transportation :(

All the security from same place. the try men ho not give in money like nothing and when i ask for Mr Victor he protect his team before he know and hotel the care about staff not the guest . And the leady he will do anything just for number don’t come to this place all is a gang searching for money

Worst staff service what ever i seen. There down side have coffeeshop Cavaly lounge what I called fish market. They waiters (IBRAHIM and RAKIB )not professional in their jobs. I think they get job by mistake Because even don’t know what’s meaning service

We have been travelling for the last three months and can safely say that this is the worst experience yet. There are four nightclubs in the hotel which are open until 4am. In the evening there are many bouncers on the front door and around the lifts. Many drunken people and many women who appear to be ‘at work’. Apart from one member of the Front Office team, most were very rude and very abrupt. Do not stay at this hotel, especially if you have children. On the way back to the airport, the taxi driver kept apologising for the hotel and was insistent it wasn’t a reflection of Qatar, which I am pleased to say it wasn’t, however the hotel stay did leave a sour taste of our stay in Qatar. I have been a Senior Lecturer at a hotel management school and I will use this hotel as a case study of what not to do when running a hotel.

the rooms are good but it is not a hotel where you can enjoy yourself (poor pool area), this is more of a party hotel. good service from the most of the employees, but some at the reception are not good in there job. is a nightmare to take the lift as a lot of people are going to a party from 9pm-2am.

Rooms are nice and big. I booked a Premium Deluxe Room through the Stopover program with discounted rates but it didn't have the advertised view to the Corniche. And that was the main reason I had chosen this hotel. Anyway, I loved the location, just 2 minutes walking from the Corniche. I tried to contact the hotel before arrival through mail, WhatsApp and message from their website but didn't get any reply at all. Damage deposit had been charged on arrival by credit card, on check out I got it back in cash. One or two days later my credit card had been charged a second time. After informing my bank it took a week to get my money back.

Good place to stay for business

This place has decent rooms but is noisy and has an unsettling vibe. Also located close to CBD and Souq area. The senior supervisor at reception has appalling customer service skills as do a few of the reception staff. Not very welcoming just want cash upfront. Construction outside will be going for possibly another 6 months but the nightly bass thump coming from the nightclub on the 14th floor that goes to the early hours is permanent. We could hear it on the 8th floor so had to use earplugs. Would not recommend for families or single females. The presence of a lot of security staff in foyer especially at night does not bode well ie why is it necessary for such a presence? Staff servicing rooms and breakfast staff very nice. Breakfast not worth it as everything is cold at 7am! How can you allow that to happen? Try elsewhere in Doha as there is a good range of quality, friendly hotels. This is not one of them.

Delay in check in, no parkings available, they have valet parking but in unsafe place. Elevators got crowded when bar open and there is no special elevators for residence. Much drunk people are in and cannot be safe near them specially when u are in the queue to get the elevators. Security trying to help to get elevator for families but drunk people cannot understands. Place of hotel is in the middle of excavation near to souq Waqf. At midnight there are much labor meeting at the front of hotel. Their breakfast is unsatisfied Car horn is living with u in ur room. One thing I like, which is some security treatment.
