Hotel San Francisco De Quito

El lugar era estratégico pues estaba en el centro histórico de Quito

La habitación que me tocó no era cómoda y pocas o casi nunca se hizo un buen aseo.

We had a room without a window, so it was not a good experience, also wall were thin, so you can literally hear all moves on the floor

Amazing location right in the middle of Centro Historico. Ask for room #8 - the best. Beautiful courtyard. Very helpful staff is the greatest asset of the hotel.

Breakfast-really poor…

San Francisco de Quito exceeded all my expectations. Most charming hotel with a beautiful shady courtyard, full of tropical plants. Fantastic location right in the middle of Centro Historico, with all main sites within few minutes’ walk. Walls hang with some religious antique paintings. If you can ask for room #8 – great, spacious room overlooking the corner of Sucre and Guayaquil (albeit a bit noisy, so not great if you are a light sleeper).

Wonderful reception staff – very helpful (although the night porter forgot the morning alarm call). So – so breakfast (especially coffee), but there’s plenty of great cafes and pastelerias in the Old Town.
