Stayed for 4 nights. Great location, easy walk to the train station. Located on the side of a cliff, make sure you book a sea view....stunning sunsets and a gorgeous view. Very clean rooms,which are cleaned daily. Good aircon in the room. lots of marble tiles throughout and ornate chandeliers....even in the bathroom. Private stairs down to the beach (150 steps) restaurants and takeaways close by and a very short walk to the centre of town.

Nothing to dislike. Breakfast was a little bland, but there was always fruit, yogurts, eggs etc. The view while eating breakfast was amazing. There is no lift, so be aware if you have heavy luggage.

I have just returned from a 7 night stay and had a fabulous time. My room was lovely and very spacious. I really liked the style of the decor and the balcony overlooking the sea provided an amazing view with a table and chairs provided to soak up the sights. The room was exceptionally clean with daily housekeeping. The housekeeping team were also accommodating and willing to return later if I was still in the room. I found that breakfast met my needs. The location is fantastic and within close proximity to the beach and Tropea old town. Great WiFi too and the air conditioning is a much welcome addition. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help and even very kindly provided me with transport to the train station on my departure. I would love to return!

Due to the rooms/corridors being marble, I found that it echoed and I was able to hear the conversations of other guests/TV. This is not necessarily a reflection of the hotel and more aimed at being mindful/considerate of other guests especially late at night.

The breakfast was extremely poor with not much choice and questionable quality. The staff didn't look well prepared.

A steep walk downstairs to get to the beach. Pay €10 for two chairs under an umbrella. Beach was OK little hard to walk on and be careful. The little blue fish bite. breakfast was good. Room was older, but the views were good. If you go onto the balcony, your neighbours are right next to you with a low partition. So not very private.
