"A good, friendly hotel."

The staff were very friendly. The lounge area was so cosy with the roaring fire. The New Year's Eve meal was so good. The shower in the rooms was lovely and hot. The beds were comfortable.

The heating in the rooms didn't work very well which made them quite cold. There's was a small fan heater in the wardrobe which was very effective. The rooms were comfortable as were the beds but the furniture in the rooms was quite tired and would benefit from an upgrade. As for position of the hotel. It was a bit of a hike from the town and all up hill. The 1st night after hiring skis etc., with 4 children age 2 to 15, we had to walk back as we couldn't figure out bus times and it was a very difficult walk all up hill. Just something to bear in mind as there are not many lockers at the gondola. It did state there was a heated pool but it wasn't open and I didn't realise it was outdoor.
