We wanted a clean , friendly and comfortable room for an overnight stay. The room was clean. Yes slightly tired but the bed was comfy , room was quiet. The staff were really lovely. Warm and welcoming. Sadly we didn’t have hot water for a shower am. The hotel was full maybe that had something to do with it. Great sleep which is what you want and a great price. Breakfast was good other than hash browns cold. Nice sausages and bacon. A few hiccups bit would stay again.

Everything satisfactory, needed an overnight stay and it fitted our needs. Complimentary breakfast was fine. Room had everything we needed. Staff were friendly. Only complaint is the charge for parking when the hotel website stated it was free.
I had a great experience with this hotel. I made a special request for a non-ground floor room, and immediately got an email confirming they would put me on the second floor. When I checked in they confirmed they were putting me on the second floor due to my request. Check in was super fast, the receptionist was friendly and answered all my questions. The room was reasonably spacious, with a small desk, hangers, sofa, and comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom was nice and clean and contained soap, body wash and shampoo, and a cup for the sink. Bedside lighting was comfortably dim, unlike many other places. Used the ironing room to iron my shirt in the morning, which was an unexpected bonus. Breakfast included eggs, bacon, hashed browns, break for toasting, baked beans, cereals, milk and yogurt, juices, coffe/tea/hot chocolate, and some mini pastries. Decor throughout was nice, with themes of diamonds and blue. Perhaps not the most modern, but a very nice experience, especially considering the price. Only complaints are lack of plugs near the bed, and that the fence around the hotel means walking from nearby bus stops is a little awkward.
- good location - excellent staff, v supportive - old hotel overall so the wall paint was chipped, curtains were stained, funny lingering smell particularly in bathroom - overall suited our purpose of staying for one night, n breakfast was good! got our money's worth
