Traditional Old building & Excellent Location ,Beautifully Kept original.

Would have been nice to have had the offer of a front facing room as we were stopping for Four nights when booking, as the roof fans started at 7:00 am.little annoying.

It was close to home

Considering it was Christmas, the rooms had nothing in them to celebrate the fact. The room was very, very cold. The staff helped with that. The waiter was unbelievably slow, and the tables were sticky. My glass actually fell over when I went to pick it up, as it was stuck to the table. I have no problem smoking outside, but it was absolutely freezing. Is there anyway that you could put a standing heater on? Or have a protected area so that the elements don’t affect. Parking at the back was completely full. The breakfast menu was odd, and expensive. I wanted a continental breakfast, as the hot items didn’t appeal… but the selection was dreadful. I ended up eating 4 grapes, and was charged way way over. Really disappointed as my partner originally booked the pub nearby, but I wanted to upgrade as a treat for us both. Really not impressed.

Although I had paid in October at the time of booking they charged room rate on my credit card when I booked in and to date -13th Jan I have still not received a refund. Not happy!!!!!!

Great location for us, lovely food great choice of drinks really friendly and helpful staff

The only small criticism that we have was that the rooms were really hot, but apart from that there isn’t anything we could fault with this place
