"They are very well aware of beauty of Petra."

2.0

In my Jordan experience the worst hotel i stayed was Hotel Amra Palace. The room was extremely bad including bathroom. They are very well aware of beautiness of Petra. In the morning my room was knocked and opened without my will and permission at 9 a.m. It was very annoying. Their breakfast buffet includes nothing everything is extra. Beside this when you arrive hotel they are forcing to sell their activities and if you don't want to buy them their attitude changes in bad way. This is my first comment in Expedia and i think people like me should have share their experience.

"Great Location and Service Staff"

8.0

This is an old hotel but if you are looking for a couple days stay in Petra, it is value for money. The service staffs have been very helpful. The rooms are big and clean. The only issue we have is the internet service which is usually not working well. Other than that, we enjoy our stay there.

"Great value property"

8.0

Would recommend to anyone looking for a great value. Nice facilities, friendly staff, amenities, clean rooms and tasty food. Nothing bad to say about this place. We have no need to even try another hotel in Petra area.

"Value for money"

6.0

Unassuming appearance but grows on you after you realize that the amount you paid wasn't going to get you a 5 star experience. Homely, very helpful staff, and relatively close to the Main Petra tourist attraction (still need to drive though). On the flip side, rooms a little musty when you initially walk in (prior to switching on the air con), and very ordinary food (common across most of Jordan though).

"Best hotel to see Petra"

8.0

The friendliness of the staff was excellent, they could not do enough for you. Although only rated 3 star, it is more like a 4-5 star, the only thing missing is tea/coffee facilities in the rooms. Rooms could also have been a bit bigger. Hotel is non-smoking which in Jordan is a huge bonus as Jordan is not a country to visit if you are a non-smoker -- all here seem to smoke. Free shuttle bus to Petra also. It was a joy to stay here after having stayed at the Amman intercontinental the night before. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Petra. It is the place to stay.

"Solid Hotel"

8.0

Great staff who were always wiling top help; this isn't a place where you are paying extra for everything throughout your entire stay. If you have a rental car, Petra is 5 minutes away and the hotel's location is great for walking through Wadi Musa and finding local shops and restaurants. The price is great, you basically get two nights for the price of one in the one night in chain chain hotels. Plenty of free parking at Petra so no need to stay right by the gate. I will stay hear again when I go back to Petra.

"Better than a 3 star hotel"

10.0

- The room was clean and had very comfortable beds and pillows- actually better than the 5 star hotel we stayed at the Dead Sea! - Service was fantastic. The staff members were all very kind, keeping the breakfast bar opened for us despite it being past their closing time. - The salads at their buffet dinner were delicious - They had international channels TV. Just one area for improvement: - our bathroom did flood a bit, Not sure if it was because the tub leaked or because the drain pipe overflowed.

"Great stay"

An amazing staff and wonderful hotel. Food was great and well priced. Even managed to pick up a lunch box on arrival for our day at Petra. Owner comes by during dinner and wants to know how his hotel is. Very very good.

"Owner-operated with focus on client service"

10.0

Great locally-owned mid-range option for visiting Petra. Owner made a point of making himself known to guests, and the front desk staff was particularly helpful with whatever we needed, including giving us good info about where to find ATMs, stores to buy food for picnicking at Petra, etc. The breakfast buffet was good, dinner buffet was competitively priced with places in town, and it was particularly nice to be able to enjoy sitting out on the patio to eat. The jacuzzi was more lukewarm than hot, but still welcome (with the pool) after a very tiring day climbing around Petra ruins. There is a hotel shuttle to the site, although if you have a car and can get up with the sun, you're better off leaving before the first shuttle to be there before the crowds arrive.
