Santana Beach Resort

The hotel staff were really friendly, desk clerk a little stand of fish. Good breakfasts. For the price, a good stay.

The Santana Beach Resort is very well situated just minutes from the beach. The grounds are well kept and very pleasing. The rooms and other buildings are easy on the eye and merge well with the grounds. The rooms were clean and very roomy. The aircon worked well although was quite noisy. Beware of being assigned a room backing onto the road. Loud voices and motorbikes starting up at all hours made for little sleep. We were able to request moving to a different room after the first night. Facilities differed in the rooms. For example, one had a well stoked minibar and the other an empty fridge. One had good TV reception and the other not. Constant local radio ( in English with constant ads) piped over the restaurant and bars was tiresome and spoiled the experience somewhat.

We stayed here just for a night. A couple and a 4 year old. We were in a standard room, the size of which was really big but it not clean, toilet wasn't great, no mineral water, small 11" tv, an AC that keep making a lot of noise, no views, poor service, not so good food. This hotel could be useful if you are going in a gang of 10 to 12 people, staying in a room or 2. Families, try avoiding it.

After having completed an exhausting 30 day tour of Northern and Southern India we were looking for a few days or R & R before heading home. The Santana Beach Resort was the perfect answer. We found the resort a wonderful change. We had a comfortable room and found the surroundings relaxing. The staff were wonderful and helpful in all respects. We were lucky to have been at the resort on a Friday and enjoyed the BBQ served at poolside with live music. The resort staff went out of the way to allow us to store our luggage, arrange for a late evening transportation to the airport and still enjoy the facilities for the afternoon. We enjoyed walking the beach but enjoyed more just relaxing at the larger of the two pools. All in all a perfect ending to our India experience!

This resort was booked online by my wife and had her apprehensions about the surroundings and cleanliness of the resort. Santana Beach Resort was a place which really was met our expectations. We intend to revisit Santana and also recommend others to enjoy their stay as we did.

Hotel has very good swimming pool. Very good continental and Indian breakfast. People are helpful. Good places to move around. Spacious room with good amneties.

We had planned a One day stay at Santana, which we later regretted. It is a beautiful hotel, located ideally to various shopping locations, other resorts & beaches. They rooms were neat & tidy much above our expectation. The food was awesome. The hotel premises ends at the Beach. Its a value for money Hotel & I would like to stay at this resort once again!

Located in a lush green large plot, this resort offers you comfortable stay right in the middle of all the action but with all the quietness of a private island. The rooms are clean and spacious. There are two pools, a bar, a restaurant by the pool, and a beach side restaurant. You can enter the beach from the resort itself. The entire property is very well kept and well managed. You can also avail rental two-wheelers from the hotel itself. This is very close to Fort Aguda and not too far from Baga, Calangute, Candolim beaches. Best place to be if you are looking for a romantic getaway; you could spend the whole day at the resort itself. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for 5 nights and would certainly like to be back here again. The beach is only a couple of minutes walk through the hotel compound and not crowded at all. Unfortunately the much talked about Calamari beach shack was not in operation during our stay as it operates only from end October.The Deluxe rooms are pretty nice and we were fortunate to be upgraded to one of these with a view of the sea. The standard rooms should be improved though as they are a blemish on an otherwise lovely property. The property is very well manicured and maintained and the crowd is decent. The staff are quite nice and helpful. Food is good with a reasonable variety but the complimentary breakfast could be improved a little more as choice is limited. The bar is well stocked and well manned. The main Candolim road is only a few minutes walk and very lively and interesting.
