"if it wasn't for the staff service and the breakfast , I would have felt cheated"

the breakfast and staff were of a 5 star standard the location was excellent

the housekeeping was poor and certainly does not deserve the 5 star status we had to ask for soap which was forgotten ---the knob in the shower came off and i had to fix it myself i understand this is a boutique hotel and some of the items will be rustic but no excuse for shoddy housekeeping--

Beautiful hotel in a great location, close to the centre and next to a beautiful park! Staff were extremely welcoming and rooms very clean and lovely. Perfect!

"Dynamic pricing at it's worst"

Nice building friendly staff and a great location but at £280 this is clearly dynamic pricing for easter but this is not a 5 star hotel as advertised tea and coffee making facilities and toiletries wouldn't be out of place in a travel lodge.Paid to upgrade the room but it was still tiny , no safe, no fridge and the shower handle came off in my hand and to add insult to injury i was charged to park in the car park

"Characterful and close to city centre"

Proximity to the centre of Bath; friendly and helpful staff; superb breakfast; well-appointed room; comfortable bed; great towels; efficient shower; interesting building.

Steep steps to access the building and a very compact shower room with extremely hot heated towel rail were minor irritations.

Everything was perfect in particular the staff were very helpful with my handicapped wife.. Christina was outstanding
