The Roseate Villa Bath

The hotel is located in perfect quiet and picturesque street with a beautiful park right in front of the hotel. It is literally 5 mins walk to the centre where you can find shops, restaurants, bars etc. The hotel itself is set in a beautiful historical building with good size rooms and bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were really helpful, polite and willing to go out of their way to assist with any of our needs during our stay. We had a great experience and would gladly return.

There was no air-conditioning. On a hot day in the summer, this could be an issue.

Conveniently located just over the bridge from the centre, on site parking a huge bonus. Beautiful old building. Very attentive staff.

Kleine zolderkamer met één raam dat uitkeek op de parkeerplaats. Geboekt was kamer met zicht op de tuin.

Das Hotel war äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück sehr gut. Das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage war ausgezeichnet, sehr ruhig, schöner Ausblick und doch sehr nahe am Zentrum.

Das Personal war freundlich und die Lage des Hotels ist super.

Das Badezimmer war klein und unhygienischer schwarzer Schimmel in den Fugen. Die Toilettenspülung funktioniert nicht richtig. Die Zimmer und das Bad bedürfen dringend einer Renovierung. Es gibt keinen Aufenthaltsraum. Die Bar ist klein und im Speiseraum. Es gibt keinen Aufzug. Die Frühstückszeiten müssen im Vorfeld vereinbart und eingehalten werden.

Very friendly staff. Parking on site. Very nice room with high ceilings and comfortable bed. Great for our dog. Minutes from the city center but very quiet.

The full English was lovely. My sister in law had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon & said it was delicious. We dined out the first night but called in to the bar for cocktails (& tea!) & we had a lovely conversation with the guy behind the bar, he was so knowledgeable & we enjoyed exchanging stories about our lives. On the second night we dined at the hotel & the food & service was exceptional. It was also my birthday & 2 of the staff ( I know one was called Kim) came through with a dairy free chocolate cake with a candle & a side of sorbet & sang happy birthday to me! That was a really lovely touch & made my night really special.

I’m dairy intolerant & was disappointed on the first morning that there seemed to be no alternative to butter for my toast. Staff knew of my intolerance so I thought if there was an alternative they would have asked me. On the second morning I decided to ask the question & was happily provided with dairy free spread.
