Oliver Cromwell Hotel

Stayed for a quick visit while attending a wedding nearby. From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless. The room was spotless, bed super comfy, and WiFi fast. The breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of choice. Excellent facilities and friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

We came for a weekend escape, and it was wonderful. The staff were polite and professional, the bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the bathroom sparkled. The room view overlooked a peaceful courtyard, and breakfast was beautifully presented. Great value and comfort all around.

From arrival to departure my expectations were exceeded, helpful staff etc. The only thing which got in the way was the door of the broken cash machine hindering manoeverability for my invalidity scooter

I'm staying here for work; my first two stays were fine. One was in the residence and the other in a family room in the hotel. The hotel is very tired and rundown, but fulfilled my needs and the staff are very friendly. This trip however has been a nightmare. My first room was next to the lift and incredibly noisy, after requesting a quieter room I was given one next to some sort of generator room, definitely not quieter... Next I was given the key for a room in the residence that had police and ambulance outside of when I arrived. This room smelled so strongly of bleach, that someone almost certainly died in it 2 days ago. When returning yet again to the reception, I questioned the receptionist who didn't deny that someone died there. I was then shown the room opposite the aforementioned lift 🤦🤦 By this time I was fed up, tired and hungry after my 12hr shift at work, so settled with the room that sounds like it has a lorry with its engine on parked so close outside the door that my bed is vibrating 🫨 I'm currently writing this from said room at 23.15 as I can't sleep. Roll on next Wed when I can check out and go home as it's going to be a long week of not being able to sleep. If you're looking for somewhere reasonably priced and lovely, try a log cabin at Fourwinds Leisure, it's the same price and only 5 minutes away.

My room had a leak in the ceiling and had to change rooms. No one helped with my luggage to move. The beds were too soft and uncomfortable. The rooms were not cleaned or serviced unless you asked.

Stopped for one night while travelling through Cambridgeshire. The hotel exceeded expectations — easy parking, spotless rooms, and such a comfortable bed. The WiFi signal was strong, and breakfast in the morning was beautifully cooked. Excellent location close to the town centre. Highly recommend for comfort and convenience.
