"It's not a value for money"

The cleanliness and size of the room were good .

The location of the property is average. When we booked it, it said that it's near to the railway station and is accessible by walk however the same is not true. We arrived at Windermere railway station earlier and requested an earlier check-in or just dropping our luggage earlier at the property. However, the same was refused. The heating in the room was not adequate, and the control of heating was not in the room, additinally the heating was switched on for insufficient hours, which meant we had to spend maximum time in the room in cold. We had to request a couple of times to switch on the heating. And what I would like to mention is it's neither a hotel nor an Airbnb or a B&B , yes Breakfast and Room, probably, and definitely overpriced. The breakfast was average, and we were surprised not to find eggs in the menu. Would have been better if we had a microwave/heating appliance in the room. I suppose we could find better options to stay and possibly in less money. All in all, it is definitely not value for money.
