It wa sa beautiful stay. Rooms are clean and good size. Has coffee maker and hair dryer. Checking in was easy and the staff were very polite. The only negative thing i have to day os the restaurant have poor service between breakfast and dinner. There is not a dedicated server and the person there is generally no where to be seen or behind the bar making the comp drinks for those checking in. Still a great place to stay though.

Monteverde Country Lodge was a cute hotel located right outside of the downtown. The staff was friendly and the grounds were beautiful. A little old, outdated, and noisy in the early morning with the staff preparing for the day.

Keep in mind, the area is always very windy. You will feel it in your room, since the doors are made of wood and and not sealed well. Breakfast is mediocre at best. The walls are super thin. No closet space, no fridge, no ceiling fan. The staff are friendly

Carlos and the staff of the property are very nice and they will help you with anything you need to enjoy your stay. The property is cute and in the middle of the cloud forest for people who want to enjoy some “wild” stay in Costa Rica.

This was a lovely hotel on beautiful grounds. The service was fantastic. We were greeted with a welcome daquiri (brought all the way out to the car where I was waiting for my husband with our kids). The hotel provided a delicious buffet breakfast with juice and coffee. The hotel is within walking distance to several restaurants. I enjoyed having coffee in the room, but would have liked if there was a refrigerator in the room (my only wish for something different). Another nice thing was the "Tico Time" happy hour from 4-6 where drinks were served on the lovely grounds for pretty good prices. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Monteverde.

The staff is so good and courteous, breakfast is simply superb. Easy access to downtown and sunset points by walk.No fans in the rooms but its not that bad. Overall, i would highly recommend this place for anyone due to the friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere all around.
