Centric and nice place. Clean and with all necessary things needed to spend your night. Peaceful and pretty close to Monteverde’s center. Cons: 1. when we arrived we asked if we could park in front of the reception area, indicated that we could park there. Went to dinner when back five parking in that area were reserved for a bus living us with no parking. After a strong conversation with the person in the front desk we finally got a spot to park. 2. We left our clothes for a laundry services. Next day we picked up our clothes. Some clothes pieces were missing. Went to the front desk and the person there had the rest of our clothes. He did not called our room to notify that they have it. It wasn’t until we went to asked that he admit having it. If it wasn’t for these two incidents I would recommend the place. Sadly the guy at the front desk almost ruin our nice experience. Other than that, it is a nice place and the rest of the employees were very helpful and friendly.

We are a family of 4 and spent 3 nights. They had all necessary amenities like shampoo conditioner, coffee and towels. The included breakfast was delicious. we also had dinner one night at the on site restaurant which was decent. Most restaurants in the area are quite pricey. Lidia and Carlos at the front desk were great with a room upgrade and activities and dining ideas. The original room we had was an old room with a view onto a wall so the upgrade made a difference. They offered us to use the pool facilities at thier sister Hotel Poco a Poco which was great. It was my husband’s birthday while we were there and they were so thoughtful to put some balloons and chocolate covered strawberries in the room. We ended up forgetting a small bag which they arranged for delivery to our hotel in San Jose.

I stayed there for 3 nights. It’s quiet and relaxing. It’s about 15 minute walk from downtown. The buffet for breakfast looks good, but the food is left open and the flies are able to get in. Unfortunately I didn’t get to try the food. Maybe perhaps if they can cover the food that way flies won’t land on the them. Staff is very friendly. The rooms are very clean and have everything you need. They clean the rooms every day. Everything was great except the breakfast buffet!

The beds are not comfortable but the shower is great!!!! No air conditioner - would be fine if it was cool. Lovely dining area.
